The 2017 Capital Art Fair will take place at the Holiday Inn-Rosslyn Westpark Hotel in Arlington, VA, on March 25th and 26th. As the successor to the Washington Fine Print Fair and the Washington International Print Fair, the Capital Art Fair is now in its thirty-seventh year of bringing collectible and desirable art to the Washington, DC, area. This year, the fair will present 20 distinguished art dealers from across the United States showing fine prints, drawings and other works on paper ranging from the art of the Old Masters to the work of living artists producing contemporary work in all media. The show has always been very strong in the areas of nineteenth and twentieth century American art, Japanese Prints, and early and modern European prints and drawings. Joining the show for the first time is From Russia With Art, which will exhibit the work of contemporary Russian masters.
From Russia With Art is a fine art gallery in Cambridge MA, featuring works by Russian, international and local artists. The gallery originally opened in Porter Square and is now a pop up gallery. The gallery exhibits selected works at regional exhibits such as: Art & Design 20/21 & Boston Print Fair, Annual Boston International Fine Art Show at Cyclorama, From Russia with Art & Culture Festivals and Annual Holiday Exhibits (Cambridge, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Newton, Clinton, MA) as well as others. Our showroom and website www.fromrussiawithart.org feature a unique collection of etchings, dry points, sculptures, oil, acrylic and mixed media paintings. All works are original pieces by artists whose work was previously difficult to find in America. Our gallery has over 500 works of fine art, with a range of prices, making shopping an easy way to find a new addition for your personal collection or a perfect gift for someone special.
In 2017, Olesya and Jerry Koenig, owners of the gallery, collectors and Russian art experts, will present an exhibition of seldom-seen and incredibly detailed etchings by Russia’s best artists such as: Stanislav Nikireyev and Alexander Vetrov at the Capital Art Print Fair.
