On Thursday, April 28 at 6:30 pm we are pleased to invite you to the evening of literature, The Two Lives of Nikolai Erdman, presented by Irina Volkovich.
Nikolai Erdman (1900-1970), a famous Soviet dramatist, poet, and screenwriter, who was called a "Nikolai Gogol of the 20th century", suffered greatly for his talent during one of the darkest periods in human history. Rarely seen pictures/slides will be showed.

 Our next premiere of the season -- the revival production of Echo of Love -- will come to Off-Broadway stage on October 16 in the Theatre 80.
Starring: Liza Kaymin as the actress Angelina Stepanova and Sergey Gordeev as a dramatist Nikolai Erdman. The secret seven year love affair between Erdman and Stepanova left an indelible mark on each of their lives.
Adapted and directed by Irina Volkovich.
