THE SLEEPING BEAUTY

This winter, the New York Children’s Dance Theater presents the premier of one of the greatest ballets of all time The Sleeping Beauty. This spectacular production of the famous ballet staged to the music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky is choreographed by the Artistic Director of the New York Children’s Dance Theater, graduate of the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Anna Fateeva-Kazantseva.

This family-friendly, delightful performance involving over 130 young, talented dancers of the New York Children's Dance Theater, features unique classical, neoclassical and contemporary choreography. The remarkably innovative composition, technical and artistic accomplishments of this fascinating children's dance company, as well as the spectacular costumes and striking light effects, promise a truly entertaining and heart-warming theatrical experience for the entire family!!!

The New York Children's Dance Theater, established by the founders of Nika Ballet Studio, is a one-of-kind dance company comprised of non-professional dancers, ages 5 through 25, passionately devoted to the art of dance and trained in the best traditions of the renowned school of Russian ballet, under the artistic direction of its talented founder, teacher and choreographer, graduate of the Bolshoi Ballet Academy and a former soloist with the Moscow Classical Ballet, Anna Fateeva-Kazantseva.
